Artist's Description
CHAMBERS BAY
The U.S. Open will be played in the Pacific Northwest for the first time when Chambers Bay hosts it in 2015.
It’ll be the youngest U.S. Open course since Hazeltine was just eight years old when it hosted its first Open in 1970. Chamber Bay’s unique fescue grass, large footprint and placement on the shores of Puget Sound make up the setting the USGA had been hoping to find to finally bring its national championship to the Pacific Northwest. The course is designed by the noted firm of Robert Trent Jones II.
About Ken Stanback
As a photographer and artist, I like exploring the interesting visual world around me. The images you see here are about nature, beauty and the magical relationship between the camera lens and the human imagination. It's my desire to reflect and express the harmony found in natural textures and man-made structures. My greatest pleasure comes from working with the creative canvas that nature offers. The use of digital camera equipment to capture images and using innovative editing software, I am able to create and offer some unique works of Art. Come and enjoy this journey with me. Thanks for viewing and I hope your selection will be treasured.
