I was out early this morning to capture a sunrise somewhere. Headed toward Rainier on highway 7 and found this image. The viewpoint here is the Southwest side of Rainier. Most of us who live in the Seattle metro area mostly see the Northside. The sun is rising behind the mountain in this image. This image was a quick capture from the main highway because the sun was rising in a hurry.

Since I live in the shadows of Mt. Ranier I really love this one. I know how hard it is to capture ...those clouds always seem to be there when I try to take pictures!
